Pandasoft Video Converter converts .mkv files to mpg files by using a selection of utility programs found on the internet.

Converts DTS Audio to AC3 Audio for PS3 that can be used on other media player devices and to AAC for iPhone/Xbox360 devices

Quick Guide

First go to the output tab and select a device and an output folder. Set the working folder to your fastest hard disk.
Next go to the batch tab and add your choosen file(s). Adding a file uses the output device settings.

Note: Don't add files and then change the output device expecting the listed files to change.
(Question: Should the output tab come first?)

After a file is selected it can be checked using the source tab to view the video and audio selections.
The converter will try to pick out the most suitable options, but if not you can change them here.
Then click on convert. (If the video needs transcoding then it may take minutes to several hours)
if the video doesn't need transcoding but doesn't work on the device, then try the force recode option on the source details/video tab

Other

If iPhone is the output then an audio track can be converted to a ringtone by selecting the option on the output tab.

Right click on analysed or converted file for some quick options, such as previewing the converted video etc.
